Minimalism and Nordic design

Trends that blend in a 2 Bed apartment

I was going to start the week with a new blog post. Instead we had a full Monday going from one meeting to another and doing a lot of work for the projects that are knocking on our door. This is a good sign that summer is almost here and it’s open season for interior design! But no more blabbing about it. Today I want to show you another project that’s keeping us busy at the moment, a 2 bedroom apartment designed in the very popular Scandinavian style. The owner is a single young guy, very friendly and very busy, that gave us free hand to create a design that follows the selected style while meeting the everyday life requirements.

Although the Scandinavian style is all about white and airy spaces, we tried a different formula bringing in splashes of colour to make it feel more homey and cheerful.

What do you think about it?

In the bedroom we lowered the colours saturation, and we took the Scandinavian style towards a more Asian relaxing mood.

I have to say that my favourite feature is the printed glass wall, we incorporated in the bathroom. It gives a dramatic vibe and enhances a space that would otherwise be a sterile black and white room.
